This stunning, Byzantine-style crucifix features a cross of yellow gold, fashioned with trefoil, or three-petal, crucifix tips that are embellished with a beautiful, Byzantine-style scrolled design. The trefoil tips represent the Trinity: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. In the very center of this crucifix rests a small cross, over which is suspended a 14K white gold corpus. The inscription "INRI", "Iesus Nazarenus Rex Iudaeorum", the Latin abbreviation for the title Pontius Pilate wrote and put on the cross: "Jesus of Nazareth, the King of the Jews" John 19: 19-22, is in white gold at the top of the crucifix. This hollow, Byzantine-style crucifix is available in two sizes--the back is finished in a delicate "engine-turned" design.
