Silver Fleur-de-Lis Crucifixes with Chain #5277
This lovely, sterling silver crucifix is fashioned with a distinctive, textured silver design and bordered with smooth, polished fleur-de-lis tips. The three-petal tips symbolize the Trinity: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. An image of the crucified Christ adorns the cross, as does a banner towards the top of the cross, with the inscription "INRI", ("Iesus Nazarenus Rex Iudaeorum"), the Latin abbreviation for the title Pontius Pilate wrote and put on the cross: "Jesus of Nazareth, the King of the Jews" (John 19: 19-22).
