The cross of this sterling silver crucifix has a matte-finish, adorned at each end with a delicate puffed heart.  The beautiful, scrolled design which surrounds each heart, as well as the image of Christ, has a polished finish.  Below the topmost heart is the Latin inscription which reads, "INRI", ("Iesus Nazarenus Rex Iudaeorum"), the abbreviation for the title Pontius Pilate ordered written and put on the cross: "Jesus of Nazareth, the King of the Jews" (John 19: 19-22).  This silver heart crucifix comes with an 18" sterling silver chain, and is packaged in a blue velvet gift box.  Click the photograph for a detailed view.
