Two-Tone Gold, Three-Nail and Rope Cross

Crafted from high-polished 14K gold, this unique, two-tone gold, three-nail cross features three white gold nails fastened together with a yellow gold "X" band, representative of strands of rope joining the three, gold nails that form the cross.  For an enlarged view, click on the left-hand image.

This three-nail and rope cross represents both the cross of the Crucifixion and the nails that pierced Christ's hands and feet.  But Christians, looking to the resurrected Christ, proclaim: "By Thy Passion, O Christ, we have been set free from sufferings; and by Thy Resurrection we have been delivered from corruption; O Lord, glory to Thee!" (from the Orthodox service of Great Vespers).
