Two-Tone Gold Rope Cross

This contemporary, two-tone gold rope cross has a high-polished finish and features a 14K white gold cross adorned at the center with an "X" band of 14K yellow gold, signifying strands of rope joining the vertical and horizontal beams of a cross.  For an enlarged view, click on the left-hand image.

This rope cross is symbolic of Christ's voluntary Passion: the betrayal, the scourging, the mocking, the agony of the Crucifixion.  But also looking beyond Christ's Passion, Christians exclaim: "Let creation rejoice, let the heavens cheer, let the nations clap their hands for joy, for Christ our Savior to the cross hath nailed our sins; and having slain death and raised up Adam, the progenitor of mankind, hath granted us life, for He loveth mankind."
